Bobby Ogdin has a decades-long career as one of the most successful keyboard players in the Nashville music industry. He was encouraged and assisted by Tom Collins to move to Nashville in the late 1960s and since then has recorded with Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, The Judds, Ronnie Milsap, Jerry Garcia, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash to name a few. He has toured, for example, with Elvis, Buffy Ste. Marie, the Marshall Tucker Band, Ray Price, and Ween. Along the way he served as President of the Nashville Recording Musicians Association, Executive Officer and Vice-President of the International RMA, and Executive Officer and Secretary-Treasurer of the Nashville Association of Musicians. He also served as the rank-and-file representative for American Federation of Musicians collective bargaining agreements.
