Upcoming album from Robbie Gardiner
Spare Time has released two songs from an upcoming album by singer/songwriter Robbie Gardiner. Check them out on your favorite digital platform.
This 60s-influenced upbeat song borrows heavily from the best elements of 60s dance music. Treat You the Way You Want – the title says it all. Isn’t that what we all want? Sensitive, intelligent lyrics with the Mersey Beat. It’s a great thing when music is fun to listen to.
The complex lyrics of this sensitive ballad are both romantic and realistic.
When “I Let You Down” was released, digital distributor TuneCore chose it for #14 on their Hype List of new releases.
Fun fact: Considering much of the recording was done in Nashville, there is not a single guitar on this track.
On both songs, Robbie is joined by music industry veteran standouts like Dublin’s Jason Duffy (drums), studio legend Bobby Ogdin (keyboards, ukulele, and percussion), Nashville’s Grammy-award-winning MIchael Saint-Leon, aka ThunderBünny (guitars on “Treat You the Way You Want”), Tennessee standout Tim Smith (bass on “I Let You Down”), and West End’s Kirk Beasley (keyboards and bass). Recorded in Ireland and Nashville and mixed in Nashville by AES-award-winning Travis Turk, Robbie’s creative talents really shine forth.
